Bolsa de Investigação para Licenciado | RETIOT

O Instituto de Telecomunicações abre concurso para a atribuição de 1 Bolsa de Investigação para Licenciado no âmbito do projeto RETIOT .: Utilização de Tecnologias de Reflectometría no melhoramento do futuro Internet das Coisas e Sistemas Ciber-Físicos, co-financiado pelo FEDER, através do COMPETE 2020.

Período da candidatura: O concurso encontra-se aberto no período de 25 de setembro a 12 de outubro 2020.

Requisitos de admissão: Bachelor degree (Licenciate) in Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent with with knowledge on the area of communication systems, great-motivation and ability for teamwork. The scholarships referred to in this call may be used to carry out initial R&D activities by students enrolled in a professional higher technical course, in a degree, an integrated master's or a master's degree graduates and also who are enrolled in non-conferencing courses academic degrees integrated into the educational project of a higher education institution, developed in association or cooperation with one or more R&D units. The candidates must be enrolled in an integrated master.

Plano de trabalhos: RETIOT aims at developing a photonics-based network, integrating radar and communication features, able to operate in different RF bands, including the millimeter wave band, in a fully software defined configuration. The selected candidate will characterize photonic integrated chips fabricated in InP aimed at photonic generation of RF signals.

Local de Trabalho: O trabalho será desenvolvido nas instalações do Instituto de Telecomunicações em Coimbra.

Duração da bolsa: A bolsa terá à duração de 4 meses, com início previsto para 1 de novembrode 2020, eventualmente renovável.
